WWE star Mickie James is unfortunately dealing with an injury.
WWE held a live event on Saturday night in Waco, TX at the Extraco Events Center. At this show, James lost to Carmella in a singles match. Fans in attendance noted that James appeared to suffer a knee injury. It turns out that’s the case.
F4Wonline.com now confirms that James was injured during the match. According to the article, James was checked on by a WWE trainer at ringside but did leave on her own with minor assistance. The injury was listed in WWE’s newest internal injury report.
Although she was injured on Saturday night, she was still listed backstage to wrestle at Sunday’s live event in College Station, TX. She was replaced by Zelina Vega to take on Carmella.
As of this writing, there’s no word yet on the severity but we hope to have an update on her status shortly.
