The hits continued for WWE on back-to-back nights as the attendance for Monday’s RAW in Everett, WA at the Angel of Winds Arena was reportedly bad.

Dave Meltzer reported on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that there were only 3,500 fans in attendance for the show, which would be one of the smallest RAW crowds in history.

Fans noted on social media that WWE used different filming angles and zooming in to hide the crowd. It was also noted that this episode drew fewer fans in attendance in the same arena in the city back on February 5th for the SmackDown TV event drew 3,000 fans. Thus, it appears that WWE gave away tickets for RAW to “paper the house.” Here are a few crowd photos from the show:

The attendance number is especially bad due to WWE pulling poor attendance numbers for Sunday’s Stomping Grounds pay-per-view event in Tacoma, WA at the Tacoma Dome.

WWE did get some slightly good news as Monday’s edition of RAW averaged 2.275 million viewers, up from 2.235 million the previous week.

The episode was expected to increase in viewership as historically WWE gets a bump in viewership for post-pay-per-view shows.
