While people have different opinions on the heel work of Baron Corbin, Vince McMahon seems to be impressed with the former NXT Star. This is why he has been pushing Corbin recently and it appears that Kurt Angle agrees with McMahon’s decision.
The Hall Of Famer recently appeared on SiriusXM’s Busted Open Radio where he talked about a number of things including his original choice of WrestleMania opponent for the farewell bout and more.
While discussing the person who eventually ended up being his opponent for the show in Baron Corbin, Angle claimed that the Lone Wolf is currently the best heel in the business:
“I think that Baron Corbin right now is the best heel in the business. If a person gets everybody to genuinely hate their guts, 24/7, you’re doing your job. Baron, he’s the top heel in the business right now. People may disagree, but he’s going to get the title eventually. He’s going to have a heel run and I think he’ll do extremely well.”
Apart from this, Angle also talked about his decision to retire at WrestleMania 35. He claimed that his original choice was John Cena and revealed that Vince McMahon was under the impression that Angle would continue competing until WrestleMania 36.
