Former WWE Superstar Vickie Guerrero recently appeared on the Payoff Podcast where she talked in detail about her late husband Eddie Guerrero’s life and during the interview, she also revealed how the two met.
Per Vickie, she met Eddie on a blind date. One of her friends knew the former World Champion’s best friends and they made a plan to go out thinking that she can dance with someone else if she didn’t like the guy.
Recalling her first meeting with the late star, the former SmackDown General Manager said that he had long hair that went past his shoulders and he was wearing cowboy boots.
After seeing Eddie, her friend asked if they were leaving and Vickie said no. She revealed that she broke the curfew for Eddie and both of them went on to dance till 3 in the morning.
Vickie Guerrero met Eddie in 1987 and the two got married in 1990 after three years of dating. Together they had two daughters named Shaul Marie Guerrero and Sherilyn Amber Guerrero.
Guerrero made her on-screen debut for WWE in 2005. She continued her stint with the company after the death of her husband and she went on to play numerous roles on WWE Television before being released in 2014.
