WWE had been going back and forth on the exact date for the next event in Saudi Arabia but appears to have one finalized based on a new report.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the company returns to the country for its next event on November 1st. This was the original plan.

WWE had a scheduling conflict with this date as starting in October, SmackDown Live will air on FOX on Friday nights. Once it was reported that the Saudi General Sports Authority told WWE that they wanted their events held on Friday’s, WWE had to make some changes to their schedule.

Meltzer notes that WWE ended up canceling a number of European dates including the entire Italy tour, several U.K. shows, and rearranging television to where they were taping RAW and SmackDown.

Meltzer added, “RAW was taped ahead because the Saudis wanted the show on a different date. And now it’s back to the old date.”

Now, there will be a PPV in Saudi Arabia on Friday afternoon while also airing an episode of SmackDown Live on FOX later that night.

WWE started their deal with Saudi Arabia last year as the company signed a 10-year partnership with the Saudi General Sports Authority to bring two shows per year to the country in support of a new campaign, Saudi Vision 2030.

WWE has already held three PPV events in the country which were The Greatest Royal Rumble, Crown Jewel, and Super Showdown.
