Seth Rollins recently spoke with TheHindu.com where he talked about a wide range of topics including WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. This is where Rollins gave some interesting comments about “The Beast.”

During this interview, Rollins talked about their upcoming match as he challenges Lesnar for the Universal Title at the SummerSlam pay-per-view event that takes place on Sunday, August 11, 2019 in Toronto, Ontario at the Scotiabank Arena.

Rollins brought up how he has already shown the world he can beat Lesnar when he did at WrestleMania 35 to win the title. He’s confident that he can do it again.

Rollins thinks Lesnar took advantage of him at Extreme Rules by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract just moments after he emerged from a grueling battle.

“Now you tell me, is such a win befitting of a champion? No kid in the world grows up wanting to be a ‘Brock Lesnar’. He might be a great wrestler/ performer, but he doesn’t inspire anyone, doesn’t do anything for the brand or business, and most of all, he’s a terrible champion.”

This isn’t the first time that Rollins has been critical of Lesnar as he has made similar comments in past interviews back in April leading up to their match at WrestleMania.

Rollins has gone as far as calling Lesnar an industry killer for being a star who is part-time on the roster yet is pushed to the level of full-time talent. Not just with television exposure but also for being the top champion.

With being a champion in WWE, the responsibilities of that role are not just inside of the ring but also outside of it with media appearances to promote the company. With Lesnar being a part-time champion, he doesn’t make appearances at house shows and all episodes of RAW. Some people believe impacts the company in popularity.
