We noted before how WWE pulled Finn Balor from SmackVille special citing an injury, though later it was revealed that the former Intercontinental Champion was removed from the show due to an illness.
After this Balor posted a photo from hospital on his Instagram account with the caption SummerSlam, suggesting that he will still be attending the upcoming PPV:

Wrestling Observer Radio later provided more updates on Balor’s status and it revealed that the former World Champion was hospitalized due to stomach flu.
Regarding his in-ring status, it was noted that Balor is not expected to stay out of action for very long and WWE officials are hoping for him to return to the ring soon
According to reports, he could be back in the ring as soon as this Tuesday night for this week’s episode of SmackDown Live where he is supposed to compete with Dolph Ziggler.
Finn Balor was originally scheduled to challenge the current Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura for his title at the SmackVille special this past Saturday.
Though after the medical staff declared him to be unfit for the bout, Ali replaced Balor in the match against Nakamura.
