WWE Superstar Lacey Evans is a veteran of the U.S. Marines where she served for five years as a military police officer with the Special Reaction Team. She was able to successfully transition into wrestling but she knows how difficult it is for veterans to make it into civilian employment.
Which is why Evans will be appearing as a special guest on an upcoming episode of Lifetime Network’s TV show Military Makeover – a home-improvement series with Montel Williams which helps rebuild homes of military families. The team of the show comes prepared with building supplies, furniture and other materials to give their house a makeover.
The show’s team was in Panama Beach last week to reveal a revamped house of Gold Star widow Cody Patron, whose husband Sergeant Daniel J. Patron was killed in the line of duty back in 2011 in the Sangin Valley, Afghanistan, and her home destroyed by Hurricane Michael this past October.
The host Montel Williams, special guest Lacey Evans and the crew of the show wrapped up filming of the episode on July 20 with a big reveal of the rebuilt house.
You can catch the episode on Lifetime, August 30 at 6:30 a.m. central or on militarymakeover.tv
