RAW Being Taped Tonight, Flair
As a reminder, both RAW and Smackdown are being taped tonight at the Staples Center in Los Angeles as a part of a SuperShow. Meanwhile, an ECW brand houseshow is being held in Phoenix.
Ric Flair was putting on a show this weekend at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, where his daughter Ashley is on a volleyball scholarship for "Mountaineer Madness." Flair attacked basketball announcer Dave Jackson, until the Hillbilly mascot "Yosef" made the save. Flair talked to the crowd about how much he loves the college and how proud he is of his daughter's accomplishments. He then gave roses to the volleyball team. Flair, his wife and daughter attended the football game yesterday and was guest on the pre-game show talking about how great the college had been for Ashley, and said he hoped Reid could go there on a wrestling scholarship. He seemed in a great mood, and when asked, said his favorite matches were against Ricky Steamboat. I think those were, in hindsight, a lot of people's favorite matches.
