WWE and Undertaker have evidently reached a deal which will prevent the Undertaker from working for another wrestling promotion seemingly for the rest of his life. The “Deadman” is reported to have signed a new deal with WWE recently which is said to be so long in length it might as well be a lifetime contract.

“The new deal Undertaker signed, while not exactly a lifetime contract, is so long that for all intents and purposes it is. . .” wrote Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer.

Taker last performed for WWE at last month’s Extreme Rules PPV in Philadelphia. He teamed with Roman Reigns in successful fashion against Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon. Prior to that, Taker defeated Goldberg in June at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia.

Undertaker had been scheduled to take part in the Starrcast II convention in Las Vegas this spring. It was announced in April that he was being pulled from the event, however. Additionally, speaking tours in the U.K that had been booked were changed to no longer include fan Q&A sessions.

Taker is a 7x world champion, a 6x WWE tag team champion, a 1x WWE hardcore champion, and the winner of the 2007 Royal Rumble.
