WWE did an angle involving Samoa Joe at an airport that they filmed for the ongoing Roman Reigns storyline.
On Monday, the company announced a storyline fine for the former NXT Champion after an incident at the Pittsburgh International Airport. According to the story, Joe aggressively knocked a phone out of one of WWE’s producer’s hands to the ground at the Pittsburgh International Airport.
This was after Joe was asked by the WWE producer if he was responsible for the forklift incident that almost fell on Reigns last week on SmackDown Live. This was when Joe reacted.
WWE noted, “Samoa Joe has been fined an undisclosed amount by WWE due to his behavior earlier today at Pittsburgh International Airport.”
As of this writing, there’s no word yet on if WWE will use this footage on Monday Night RAW or SmackDown Live to further fuel speculation as to who is behind the attack on “The Big Dog.”
It should be noted that Joe is not currently scheduled for a match at the upcoming SummerSlam pay-per-view event that takes place this Sunday night. You can watch the incident below:

Reigns’ mystery attacker is expected to be revealed on either RAW or SmackDown Live this week before SummerSlam.
