View Full Version : WWE RAW Viewership Sees Spike For Post-SummerSlam Show

Monday’s edition of WWE RAW from Toronto, Ontario at the Scotiabank Arena averaged 2.729 million viewers, up from 2.473 million the previous week.

Here is the hourly viewership breakdown, courtesy of ShowbuzzDaily:


Hour 1: 2.772 million
Hour 2: 2.820 million
Hour 3: 2.595 million

The episode was expected to increase in viewership it served as the post-SummerSlam show of RAW for the pay-per-view event that took place this Sunday.

For comparison, the same episode last year drew 2.849 million viewers for hour one, 2.867 in the second hour, and 2.760 in the third hour.

The show featured an appearance by Paul Heyman, who did a brief backstage promo about the news that Brock Lesnar would not be granted a rematch against newly crowned Universal Champion Seth Rollins.

Some of the matches that took place include Samoa Joe vs. Sami Zayn, The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler, Andrade vs. Rey Mysterio in Best Two Out Of Three Falls Match, Drew McIntyre vs. Cedric Alexander, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross vs. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane), and Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles in the headliner.

WWE will attempt to maintain its viewership for RAW next week.
