Tuesday’s edition of WWE SmackDown Live from Toronto, Ontario at the Scotiabank Arena averaged 2.164 million viewers, which is up from 2.088 million the previous week, according to ShowbuzzDaily.

The episode was expected to increase in viewership it served as the post-SummerSlam show of SmackDown for the pay-per-view event that took place this past Sunday.

The same SmackDown episode last year drew 2.189 million viewers.

The show had to go up against Hannity that did 3.057 million viewers, Rachel Maddow Show with 2.440 and Tucker Carlson Tonight that drew 2.801.

Matches that took place on this show include Charlotte Flair vs. Ember Moon, Roman Reigns vs. Buddy Murphy, Samoa Joe vs. Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton & The Revival (Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson) vs. The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) in a six-man tag team headliner.

Also, it featured the continuation of the mystery attacker of Roman Reigns storyline with the reveal expected to be next week.

WWE will attempt to increase viewership with next week’s episode, which should be interesting to see what number it pulls in.
