WWE sets its sights on the start of this year’s King of The Ring tournament, which is the first time since 2015 that the company has held this fan favorite gimmick.
It’s time to look ahead starting with tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW.
While several things have been announced for this show, the biggest news will be made on this episode is the future of NXT. It’s been reported that WWE will officially announce that NXT will start airing on the USA Network in prime time for two hours.
While the start date isn’t known, the belief is that it will be starting next month or early September.
WWE holds this show in St Paul, Minnesota at the Xcel Energy Center. WWE is advertising the following items for tonight’s broadcast:
Braun Strowman to face AJ Styles for the United States Title on Raw
Sasha Banks’ return sparks questions
Cedric Alexander squares off with Sami Zayn in KOTR
Cesaro and Samoa Joe to throw down in KOTR
More on Seth Rollins’ next opponent
WWE will also be creating new programs and building on the hype for existing feuds that will take place heading into the pay-per-view event.
As usual, fans should expect more matches and segments to be revealed this afternoon for RAW.
