According to reports from Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, the boss Vince McMahon was not present for this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

Satin revealed the news via a tweet from his official account, claiming that Triple H, the new Executive Director Paul Heyman, and Kevin Dunn were running the show in his absence:

According to sources, Vince McMahon is not at today's Raw in Minnesota for some reason. I'm told Triple H, Paul Heyman and Kevin Dunn are running the show.

Apparently Heyman sat at the main table with Levesque and Dunn during the production meeting, which isn't the norm.

Due to his reputation of being a workaholic, McMahon missing live broadcast of any show is always a newsworthy event, though this wasn’t the first time he has missed a WWE show in recent times.

He missed another SmackDown Live taping just last month, though he still saw and approved the script for the episode ahead of time through his mobile.

It’s interesting to note here that reports suggested that WWE would be making NXT’s move to USA Network official during this week’s episode of Raw.

However, not only the show didn’t feature any such announcement, the broadcast also lacked any mention of the development territory apart from the segments featuring NXT tag team The Street Profits.

While these two situations might have nothing to do with each other, it does make people wonder if there was a connection. It would be interesting to know if the company actually postponed the announcement due to Vince’s absence.
