Jimmy Uso was arrested for his 3rd DUI offence earlier this summer. He was then denied entry into Canada for SummerSlam weekend. The Usos have only wrestled once since Uso’s latest arrest. According to an update from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Usos are likely to return to WWE TV in the next few weeks, however.
“The Usos are out of action after Jimmy’s most recent DUI arrest. They are expected back in a couple of weeks,” wrote Dave Meltzer.
The week before Jimmy’s arrest, the Usos defeated the then-RAW tag champions the Revival on the July 22nd RAW. The week after Jimmy’s arrest, the Usos were in a triple-threat match for the RAW tag team titles. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows won the titles in the match but have since dropped those belts to Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman.
Neither Uso has wrestled for WWE on TV or at live events since July 29th. Uso’s wife Naomi, hasn’t wrestled for WWE on TV or at live events since the July 22nd episode of Main Event when she defeated Sarah Logan.
Jimmy and Jey Uso are one of the most successful tag teams in WWE history. They are 4x Smackdown tag team champions, 2x WWE tag team champions, and won the Slammy for tag team of the year in 2014 and 2015.
