WWE has announced that they have signed former Lucha Underground competitor King Cuerno.

King Cuerno is also known as El Hijo del Fantasma. His real name is Jorge Bolly, son of legendary luchador El Fantasma.

The promotion made the news official on their website, stating that the second-generation luchador had arrived at the WWE Performance Center in Florida.

Bolly has an impressive list of accolades to his name. He has held both singes and trios titles in AAA and CMLL during his career and won AAA’s Antonio Peña Cup in 2017. With his background in lucha libre and extensive experience in pro wrestling, it may only be a matter of time until we see him on NXT.

Alongside the announcement that they have signed Bolly, WWE revealed they have also secured former football player Edgar Lopez.

The 6’4”, 250 pound Lopez used to play football on the Monterrey Institute of Technology’s Borregos Salvajez squad. He was an offensive captain. WWE write that their scouts discovered him during last December’s tryouts in Santiago, Chile.

The two newest NXT rookies join a number of other signees to the Performance Center including EVOLVE Champion Austin Theory and Mae Young Classic competitor Santana Garrett.
