It’s been a big week for Mitchell, who also covers the Baltimore Ravens for Fan Girl Sports. She also Tweeted out on Sunday that she was excited for the start of the NFL season.
Mitchell’s bio on the Impact Wrestling alumni section reads as follows:
“Beautiful, poised and incredibly talented, IMPACT’s newest backstage interviewer, McKenzie Mitchell leaves no stone unturned on her quest to get the latest breaking news behind the scenes at IMPACT Wrestling. A graduate of the esteemed University of Mississippi, McKenzie obtained her degree in broadcast journalism in 2016 and immediately found herself immersed in the whirlwind world of professional wrestling. The former Ole Miss Rebel is no stranger to sports broadcasting, as she was the primary in-venue and on-camera host for all Ole Miss athletics.”
Bleacher Report analyst Matt Camp also recently posted that he has begun work as a WWE on-air talent as well:
My first @WWE event was 2/23/92 in @TheGarden.
Appropriately enough, this is my first week as an on-air host/digital talent for WWE.
Thanks to everyone who supported me along the way.
