Tuesday’s edition of WWE SmackDown Live from New York City, NY at Madison Square Garden averaged 2.061 million viewers, which is down from 2.130 million the previous week, according to ShowbuzzDaily.

The same SmackDown episode last year drew 2.319 million viewers. This was the go-home show for the Clash of Champions pay-per-view event.

The episode was expected to drop in viewership just like Monday’s episode of RAW did.

The show had to go up against Hannity that did 3.305 million viewers, Rachel Maddow Show with 2.920 and Tucker Carlson Tonight that drew 2.852.

The biggest sports-related competition came in the way of the 30 for 30 special on Dennis Rodman on ESPN that drew 1.073 million viewers.

Matches that took place on this show include The Miz vs. Andrade (w/Zelina Vega), Nikki Cross (w/Alexa Bliss) vs. Mandy Rose (w/Sonya Deville), Heavy Machinery (Otis & Tucker) vs. Alex Keaton & Johnny Silver, SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley vs. Ember Moon, and King Of The Ring 2019 Semi-Final Best Two Out Of Three Falls Match between Shane McMahon and Chad Gable.

WWE will attempt to increase viewership with next week’s episode, which should be interesting to see what number it pulls in.
