A change to WWE 205 Live, the home of cruiserweight stars under the banner of the company, is moving nights.
The show is reportedly moving to Friday nights, according to PWInsider. WWE should be making an official announcement on the future of the cruiserweight show soon.
According to the report, the word going around backstage at the SmackDown/205 Live TV event from the Chase Center in San Francisco is that 205 Live will be moving to Friday nights at 10pm ET. The show will remain to air on WWE’s streaming service, WWE Network.
The change is expected to start next week, October 4. This will be a busy date for the company as it marks the same night that SmackDown premieres on FOX, live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
As of this writing, the current plan is to tape 205 Live after SmackDown goes off the air on Friday nights.
The series is now the responsibility of the NXT Creative Team as Triple H will continue to oversee the series.
Since Triple H took over the creative 205 Live last year, fans have been more prone to praise the show and tune in.
WWE continues to make changes in order to improve and draw more viewers for the 205 Live brand.
