While the WWE Hall Of Famer Edge has been trying to decline the rumors about his possible in-ring return, the actions of the former World Champion seem to indicate otherwise.
PWinsider is reporting that Edge visited Pittsburgh, PA on Tuesday and when the site inquired about the reason for his visit, they were told he was there on ‘WWE Business’.
What’s interesting to note here is that Pittsburgh is the place where the head of WWE’s medical department Dr. Joseph Maroon is headquartered.
The rumors of Edge returning to the ring were first heard when he delivered a spear to Elias on SummerSlam pre-show and then the former Champion announced his retirement from podcasting, a move which only fueled these speculations.
A report that came out not too long ago even went on to claim that the former WWE Champion has already been cleared for an in-ring return, however, the WWE Star quickly responded to it and tried to decline the news.
However, his visit to Pittsburgh is only expected to provide more fuel to the speculations of a possible in-ring return and it would be interesting to see if WWE tries to respond to this report in any way.
