Ember Moon hasn’t wrestled a match in 2.5 weeks as a result of a leg injury. According to a report from the Wrestling Observer newsletter, Moon suffered an injury to either her ankle or Achilles recently. Her last match was on the September 23rd episode of Raw when she dropped a single’s match to Lacey Evans.
“Moon will be out of action for a decent length of time with either an ankle or an Achilles injury. The latter is really nasty, as that can be close to a year,” wrote Dave Meltzer.
Ember Moon is on a four-match losing streak on WWE programming dating back to August. She dropped a WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship match at SummerSlam in Toronto to Bayley and hasn’t won a match on TV since. Moon then dropped a match to Charlotte Flair two nights after SummerSlam on a Smackdown also held in Toronto. The next month she would drop a singles match to Bayley on the Smackdown from Madison Square Garden before losing to Lacey Evans on Raw two weeks later.
