It appears that the upcoming Crown Jewel event will be the first Saudi Arabian PPV of WWE which will not feature The Undertaker on the show.
Taker is not booked for any match on the show and despite the fact that there are less than 2 weeks remaining for the event, there has been no mention of the Dead Man on WWE Programming.
While he was advertised for the show earlier, Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the Phenom is currently not scheduled for the upcoming PPV.
There is no word on why the former Champion is not working Crown Jewel. Though it’s possible that with the likes of Tyson Fury and Cain Velasquez being on the show, the company doesn’t feel the need of additional star power for the event.
WWE has so far produced 3 PPV events from Saudi Arabia after their deal with the General Sports Authority of the country and Taker has been part of all the shows.
He wrestled Rusev in a casket match at the Greatest Royal Rumble event and teamed up with Kane to compete against DX at the Crown Jewel PPV last year.
The Last Outlaw’s last match in Saudi Arabia was his bout with Goldberg which was the main event of Super Showdown in June this year.
