Cain Velasquez has his second match under the WWE banner booked.
On Friday, WWE confirmed that Rey Mysterio returns to action in Mexico when he teams up with his friend and the former UFC Champion in a tag team matchup at a live event next month.
Record.com.mx was the first to report the news. As of this writing, their opponents at this house show has yet to be announced.
The WWE Live Mexico SuperShow will take place at the Arena Ciudad de México at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are available at www.superboletos.com.
No other matches have been announced but WWE touted that it will feature superstars from Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown.
WWE holds the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event on Thursday, October 31, 2019 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the King Fahd International Stadium and will air on the WWE Network.
At this show, Velasquez will make his WWE in-ring debut when he challenges Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship in what is likely to be the main event.
Prior to signing with WWE, Velasquez broke into the pro wrestling business by wrestling at AAA shows where he worked tag team matches.
