Friday’s edition of WWE SmackDown on FOX from Indianapolis, IN at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse averaged 2.418 million viewers, according to ShowbuzzDaily.

This is down from the 2.877 million viewers that the show did for last week’s episode of SmackDown.

The show averaged 2.441 million viewers in the fast nationals, which was down from last week’s 2.898 million viewers. This number measured the top metered markets.

The episode was expected to maintain viewership due to the hype surrounding the fallout of the WWE Draft.

The show had to go up against an MLB playoff game on FS1 that did 5.632 million viewers. It also went up against the UFC Boston show on ESPN 2 that saw the main card average 805,000 viewers.

WWE is expecting to see a drop in viewership for the following episode due to it airing on FS1 for one week, which should be interesting to see what number it pulls in.

Matches that took place on this show included Roman Reigns beat Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura by DQ, Heavy Machinery defeat Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode & The Revival, Nikki Cross defeats Carmella and Dana Brooke and Lacey Evans and Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, Braun Strowman defeats Drew Gulak, and Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns defeat King Corbin & Shinsuke Nakamura in the headliner.
