Kurt Angle and his wife Giovanna recently adopted the family’s 6th child. The Angle’s adopted Joseph, a 15-year-old from Bulgaria. Angle discussed the adoption recently with reporters from TMZ.
“My wife decided she wanted to adopt a child and she did some research and she found out that kids over 10 don’t get adopted, period,” Angle said in regards to their newly adopted son. “So she decided not to get a young one but an older one and try and give him a chance..”
“He’s had a rough life. We’re very patient with him but he’s a teenager,” Angle said with a laugh and smile.

TMZ then asked Angle how his new son is adapting to America.
“He loves it,” Angle answered. “It’s different. Where he was from, it’s a small town. Bulgaria isn’t exactly, you know, no way like the United States. It’s going to be an adjustment for him but we’re taking our time with him and making sure we cross our Ts and dot our Is with him because he’s a special kid.”
Angle also mentioned that his wife took the time to learn Bulgarian so she can better communicate with him.
