Earlier this week, a list of matches that are being locally advertised for the final WWE pay-per-view event of 2019, TLC, was released.
One of those matches advertised was Baron Corbin vs. Roman Reigns in a TLC Match. It turns out that this match is booked for the show but the stipulation to go along with it hasn’t been finalized quite yet.
According to a report by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is considering a different stipulation for the match, which would involve a dog collar. This type of match would see Corbin and Reigns chained together while wearing dog collars.
“It will be a gimmick match but the gimmick has not been decided upon. It could be tables ladders or chairs, but dog collar match has also been up for consideration,” Meltzer wrote.
On last week’s episode of SmackDown, Corbin cut a promo in the opening segment where he said that Reigns’ bark was more like a chihuahua and then brought out doggy bags and more.
The WWE TLC pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, December 15, 2019, in Minneapolis at the Target Center. Here are the matches advertised.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors vs. Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair – first-ever Women’s TLC Tag Team match
Roman Reigns vs. King Corbin – TLC match
Rusev vs. Bobby Lashley with Lana
WWE will be officially announcing matches for this show after the Survivor Series pay-per-view event next weekend.
