Despite being moved to SmackDown Live during the drafts, the Fiend Bray Wyatt has continued to be the special attraction for the live audience of Raw and this week was nothing different.
This week’s episode of Raw saw The Fiend defending the Universal Championship in a steel cage match once again after the show went off air.
Though this time it was the former NXT Champion Drew McIntyre who got a shot at the title and WWE once again used Wyatt’s signature red lighting for the bout.
The Universal Champion was over with the crowd and he was said to be working as a crowd favorite. The closing moments of the match saw Wyatt teasing the win by leaving the cage through the door.
However, he then went on to defeat the former champion via a pin after hitting him with a Sister Abigail and taking him down with the Mandible Claw.
Bray Wyatt has recently been involved in a storyline with Daniel Bryan and Bryan challenged him for a match at Survivor Series on the latest episode of SmackDown.
The Fiend accepted this challenge from the former champion and he will now be defending his Universal title against Daniel at the upcoming PPV on November 24.
