A new match has been announced for the WWE NXT TakeOver: WarGames III event.
Originally, a Triple Threat #1 Contenders’ match that will see Killian Dain vs. Pete Dunne vs. Damian Priest was announced for Wednesday’s NXT episode.
However, WWE has since announced the match will take place at TakeOver: WarGames III. The winner of this match will challenge NXT Champion Adam Cole for the title the following night at the Survivor Series pay-per-view event.
At TakeOver, Cole will take part in the Men’s WarGames Match alongside Bobby Fish, Roderick Strong, and Kyle O’Reilly against Tommaso Ciampa, Donovan Dijak, Keith Lee, and a star to be announced.
WWE presents the NXT TakeOver: WarGames III event this Saturday in Rosemont, Illinois at the Allstate Arena that will air on the WWE Network.
