Former WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins has lashed back at CM Punk, calling him a “coward.” During last night’s episode of FS1’s WWE Backstage show, Punk responded to Rollins’ tweet requesting a fight.
“I would like my journalistic integrity to be intact, so this isn’t the show where you come on and shoot your little angles,” Punk said.
He continued, “Seth needs to stop tweeting and realize that sometimes it’s better to be viewed as the fool and shut your mouth, or open your mouth and remove all doubt.” Punk then added that Rollins should delete his Twitter account, noting that it’s “not doing him any favors.”
Rollins’ response saw him retweet the clip of Punk’s reply. He accompanied it with the following caption: “HELL of a “response.” Coward.” He accompanied his words with an eye-roll emoji.
HELL of a “response.”. Coward.
