WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently took part in an online Q&A session on Facebook. When asked about working with WWE Legends, and fellow Hall of Famers, Triple H and Shawn Michaels, Angle revealed how much the two helped him grow as a performer, thanks to their willingness to share their knowledge.
“HHH and Shawn were not only extremely talented in the ring, but they shared so much of their knowledge of the business. I took their advice on many occasions. DX will always be the hottest clique in sports entertainment.”
When a fan asked him if he would still be performing in the square circle given a chance, Angle replied: “No more wrestling for me.” He explained that he is now a WWE Producer and enjoys helping current Superstars structure their matches. However, Angle admitted that, if he had a preference, he would still choose to compete in the ring. He added how he is now 51 years old and that it’s time for him to “step aside and allow the young guys to do their thing.”
Angle wrestled his farewell match during this past April’s WrestleMania 35 event in New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium. Despite his best efforts, he eventually lost his final bout to Baron Corbin.
