WWE taped the December 23rd edition of RAW on Monday evening from Des Moines, IA at the Wells Fargo Arena. The following are the spoilers for the show:
Kevin Owens defeated Mojo Rawley in a Christmas Street Fight. After the match, Owens cut a promo where he called out Seth Rollins and AOP, who walked out and beat him down.
Bobby Lashley defeated Cedric Alexander. During the match, Lana announced that their wedding would take place next week.
Drew McIntyre defeated Zack Ryder. After the match, McIntyre announced that his year will be 2020
RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch came out to the ring to cut a promo by issuing a challenge to WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Asuka for a singles match. As a result, Asuka came out and agreed to the match but noted it would take place at a later date. Lynch told Asuka to name the place and time.
Ricochet defeated Tony Nese
Aleister Black defeated a local enhancement talent. After the match, Buddy Murphy came out and also defeated a local enhancement talent as Black watched. Black dropped Murphy after the match. They will square off next week.
Charlotte Flair defeated WWE NXT Superstar Chelsea Green.
The OC (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson) defeated Randy Orton and RAW Tag Team Champions The Viking Raiders.
Erick Rowan squashed a local enhancement talent
Rusev defeated No Way Jose. After the match, Rusev cut a promo on Lana and Bobby Lashley getting married and how they deserve each other.
WWE United States Champion Rey Mysterio retained over Seth Rollins by DQ due to interference by AOP. After the match, they went to put Mysterio through announce table but Samoa Joe wouldn’t move. As a result, they not only furthered the beatdown on Mysterio but attacked Joe as well.
