Viewership data is in for this week’s battle in the WWE NXT vs. AEW Dynamite Wednesday Night War.

This week, NXT won in total viewers. It was close in every demographic group except Adults 50+, where NXT had a significant edge as they usually do.

Here is the breakdown of the live and same-night DVR viewership, courtesy of ShowbuzzDaily:

NXT on the USA Network averaged 795,000 viewers, which is up from 778,000 last week. In the 18-49 demo, they drew a 0.27, up from 0.24 the previous week.

The episode featured NXT Champion Adam Cole vs. Finn Balor in the opening match, Damian Priest vs. Killian Dain, Cameron Grimes vs. Kushida, Pete Dunne vs. Travis Banks, and NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler vs. Rhea Ripley in the headliner.

This week’s episode of AEW and NXT marked the final head-to-head battle in viewership. NXT will air an episode next week, which falls on Christimas.

WWE has only announced two matches for the show on the USA Network. Lio Rush and Keith Lee will team up to face Damian Priest and WWE 205 Live Superstar Tony Nese as well as an Open Challenge from NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong.

On the flip side, AEW won’t air an episode on TNT due to the holiday.
