With just hours until bell time, it’s time to look ahead starting with tonight’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown with a preview.
The TLC pay-per-view event is in the rearview heading into a new episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.Three things have been announced for the show including two matches.
Most notably, WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day vs. Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro in a non-title match as well as Dana Brooke vs. Bayley in a non-title match.
Brooke and Bayley will have a rematch as Bayley beat Brooke in a singles match on last week’s episode of SmackDown.
On the flip side, The New Day is fresh off a successful title defense over The Revival in a Ladder Match at this past Sunday’s TLC pay-per-view event in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Target Center
WWE holds this show Brooklyn, NY at the Barclays Center. WWE is advertising the following items for tonight’s broadcast:

WWE will also be announcing matches for existing feuds that will take place heading into the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event.
As usual, fans should expect more matches and segments to be revealed this afternoon for SmackDown. It will be interesting to see where WWE goes from here with The Miz after he lost to Bray Wyatt in a non-title match at the TLC PPV show that served as a bridge for the Wyatt-Bryan feud that has started again.
Unlike Monday Night RAW next week, WWE will return to the air with next Friday’s episode of SmackDown with a new live show as it falls after Christmas.
