With just hours until bell time, it’s time to look ahead starting with tonight’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown with a preview.
Although WWE has yet to publish the official preview for the show, two things have been announced for the show including a match and segment.
Top Match
The big match will see Daniel Bryan, The Miz and King Corbin battle it out in a Triple Threat Match for the right to face “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt at Royal Rumble. This will serve as a #1 contender’s match for the WWE Universal Title that Wyatt holds.
SmackDown Preview
WWE holds this show from Detroit, Michigan at Little Caesars Arena. WWE is advertising the following items for tonight’s broadcast as a SmackDown preview:
Daniel Bryan, The Miz and King Corbin battle for the right to face Bray Wyatt for the Universal Title at Royal Rumble
Alexa Bliss welcomes Lacey Evans in the return of “A Moment of Bliss”
WWE will also be announcing matches for existing feuds that will take place heading into the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event.
As of this writing, no matches have been officially announced for the first PPV of the new year. That will change in the coming weeks and starting on this show.
As usual, fans should expect more matches and segments to be revealed this afternoon for SmackDown.
