WWE removed Paul Heyman from his role as Executive Director of RAW. This caused a lot of things to shake up backstage in a big way. Some of Heyman’s favorites are going to change direction. That is the apparent case with Liv Morgan.

The former Riott Squad member was getting her own vignettes and promos during RAW while Paul Heyman was in his previous position. The company was building her as a singles star. The goal was to appeal to girls who could relate with her. Morgan’s promos ceased following Heyman’s exit.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Vince McMahon’s direction for Liv Morgan apparently changed. She probably can’t complain much because it appears they are putting her back with Ruby Riott as a team.

“Whatever it was with Liv it changes that, because obviously in [Heyman’s] regimen they wanted to build Liv as a big singles star.”

Ruby Riot and Liv Morgan are still good friends off-screen, but it has to feel incomplete since Sarah Logan’s release. We will have to see how WWE continues with this angle because Vince McMahon has dropped angles before.

Andrade and Angel Garza are two Paul Heyman Guys who will not lose their spot on the roster. If anything, WWE cemented long term plans for them to remain a featured act for some time to come.
