Brian Knobbs has been hospitalized with what is being referred to as “major stomach issues.” He was rushed to the hospital recently and doctors are advising that he will likely need to remain there for months.
A GoFundMe has been created to help Knobbs with medical expenses.
“Brian was rushed by ambulance to the emergency ward where he is going through a battery of tests to determine the severity of his major stomach issues,” the GoFundMe reads. “His doctors have expressed extreme concern and told Brian that he will probably remain in the hospital for at least the next couple of months.”
Along with his partner Jerry Sags, the Nasty Boys were 1x WWF tag-team champions and 3x WCW tag-team champions. Knobbs was also a 3x WCW Hardcore Champion.
“Losing his ability to hit the road and make a living, and having Limited insurance to cover his mounting medical and household bills, Brian is humbly reaching out for help with a GoFundMe campaign. He’s not looking for a hand out, but rather asking for a hand up to help him heal.”
Knobbs has also been bothered by knee issues recently. Doctors are also saying he will need surgery to be able to walk again.
