Sasha Banks hasn’t wrestled since an August 7th WWE house show in Fort Myers, Florida. Both Banks and Bianca Belair were pulled from house shows two weeks ago, and Banks did not perform on SummerSlam either. Belair lost in just 25 seconds to Lynch at SummerSlam.
According to a report from PW Insider, Banks is not expected back for Friday’s Smackdown or this weekend’s house shows. WWE is hopeful she will return in time for the WWE Supershow in Madison Square Garden on September 10th, however.
“PWInsider.com has been told that the hope, should all go well, is that Banks will return to the road for the company the weekend of 9/10,” wrote Mike Johnson. He would continue to say that the return date is not set in stone, but that is when the company expects her to be back.
It is not clear what has led to Banks’ recent absence from WWE programming or Belair missing house shows earlier this month.
Following WrestleMania in April, Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks have wrestled four times on WWE house shows. Belair has won 3 of those matches and they once went to a double count-out. Belair is the only person to defeat Banks in a singles match so far in 2021.
