Will Bray Wyatt compete, or even appear, next month at WWE WrestleMania 39?
Just a few weeks ago, it seemed guaranteed that Wyatt would be facing Bobby Lashley at the event, in a booking decision that fans have hardly supported.
The former WWE Universal Champion has not been seen on WWE programming in weeks and is said to be out with a physical issue.
While Wyatt still missing from WWE programming, the match with Lashley is looking less and less likely, with the All Mighty teasing that he'll face someone else in April.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that those within WWE are just as confused as the fans.
"Man, nobody knows what’s going on there. Not a mention of Bray Wyatt all night [during RAW]. Not a mention of Bobby Lashley all night.
"I mean I don’t wanna say it looks like he’s off the show, but it looks like he’s off the show, because they are not mentioning his name at all. They did a little flash with that Bray Wyatt stuff on Friday’s show, so he’s with the company. There was another video where they showed him briefly, so it’s not like he’s been scrubbed from anything, but he was supposed to be at the show Friday night."
During last Friday's SmackDown, Wyatt's logo was visible backstage during a segment with LA Knight.
Wyatt may be missing from WWE programming, but the former Universal Champion is still with the company.
While some have speculated that Wyatt may have walked out on WWE, that isn't the case, as Meltzer explained last weekend on Sunday Night's Main Event.
"He’s ill. He was supposed to be at the show Friday and he was not so he’s still ill. They did do a quick tease of him so he’s not gone from the company."
WWE has yet to publicly confirm plans for Wyatt to face Lashley at WrestleMania 39.
