Alexa Bliss has warned others (and her younger self) of the dangers of tanning beds amid her current hiatus from WWE.

The former Raw and SmackDown Women's Champion hasn't been seen on WWE TV since the Royal Rumble, where she lost to Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair. Post-match, Uncle Howdy spoke to Bliss via a video, though this angle has yet to be followed up on WWE programming.

Prior to her arrival at WWE, Bliss competed in fitness competitions, and often used tanning beds to improve her look.

On her Instagram Stories, the Goddess of WWE revealed that she recently had a skin procedure, seemingly due to her use of tanning beds.

Bliss gave a message to her younger self that she should have stayed out of these beds and thanked the American Skin Institute for her treatment.

She's since provided a few updates on her situation. On Tuesday, she revealed that she's expected to have a "short healing time" and encouraged people to check their skin checked out regularly - especially if they use tanning beds.

On Wednesday, Bliss provided another update on her situation. She revealed she recently noticed a spot on her face and it 'got worse' over time. She went to get it biopsied and it was diagnosed as basal cell carcinoma, the most common form of skin cancer.

During her procedure, the doctor found other squamous cells. She let her fans know that it was a quick and easy procedure, and said she's glad that she gets her skin checked regularly.

With WrestleMania 39 less than two weeks away, even a short recovery time means it is likely Bliss won't be competing at next month's two-night spectacular.

Bliss isn't the only notable name seemingly off the card, with Bray Wyatt's status for the show still unclear, given his absence from programming.

Wyatt had been expected to face Bobby Lashley in Los Angeles, and there is no word on whether he, Uncle Howdy, or Bliss will have any involvement with the show.
