Rey Mysterio will be sticking around after WrestleMania 39, despite what some have said about the future Hall of Famer.

Mysterio will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on March 31, making him one of the few active Superstars to be inducted.

The three-time former World Champion will be inducted alongside The Great Muta, Andy Kaufman, and others yet to be announced.

With Mysterio entering the Hall of Fame, it has been rumored that the masked legend plans on retiring after next weekend's WrestleMania.

Mysterio has been wrestling professionally since 1989, but does not plan on walking away from the ring just yet.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Mysterio will not be retiring after WrestleMania despite the rumors.

It's been previously reported that while Mysterio did at one point consider having his final match next month, Triple H talked him out of the idea.

With Mysterio not retiring after WrestleMania, there are some accolades that the masked legend can still achieve.

Later this year, WWE will host the King of the Ring PLE, and Rey Mysterio (which translates to King of Mystery) has yet to wear the crown.

A Money in the Bank win has also alluded Mysterio, despite him being established as one of the all-time great high-flyers.

While Rey is a three-time former World Champion, the future WWE Hall of Famer is also yet to hold the Universal Championship.

Mysterio has also yet to close out WWE's biggest event of the year, WrestleMania, and would be another accolade for him after WrestleMania.

I do not see any reason for him to be going into the HOF this year.
