Ronda Rousey may be a three-time WWE Women's Champion, but she believes the booking of women's wrestling leaves a lot to be desired.
Since arriving in WWE in 2018, the former UFC fighter has been on the receiving end of some of the strongest booking for a woman in WWE.
Rousey suffered just one loss during her first run with the promotion, while she won the 2022 Women's Rumble to kick off her second run.
Last year, Rousey began a feud with Liv Morgan after the popular star was able to dethrone Rousey to become SmackDown Women's Champion.
This feud received criticism from fans, with many believing that there was a lack of cohesion and that Morgan was not booked well.
Many felt that Morgan was presented as lucky rather than skilled, with her title win only coming about due to Money in the Bank.
Similarly, Morgan's successful title defense against Rousey at Summerslam only saw her retain due to a mistake on the referee's part.
While promoting her ‘Ronda on the Road’ YouTube series on Instagram, Rousey hit out at WWE's creative team over the feud.
"Imagine what our @yaonlylivvonce feud could have been if we weren’t hamstrung by a bunch of octogenarians who still think they know how to be hip while putting a total of 5 minutes of thought a week into each women’s storyline…"
Rousey and Morgan will face off this weekend at WrestleMania 39, albeit in fatal four-way tag-team action.
Morgan will team with Raquel Rodriguez to face Rousey (with Shayna Baszler.)
The match will include the team of Natalya and Shotzi and one team yet to be announced.
