Rey Mysterio finally laying his hands on his son Dominik during last Friday's edition of SmackDown has proven to be a hit with fans.

Since turning heel at WWE Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Dominik has repeatedly tried to goad his father into a fight but without success.

In October of last year, Mysterio was ready to 'quit' WWE over his son but was convinced by Triple H to move to SmackDown away from The Judgment Day.

During this week's SmackDown, Dominik once again antagonized his father and cost Rey his match with LA Knight.

After the bout, Dominik turned his attention to his mother Angie and his sister Aaliyah, both of whom were sat at ringside.

Referring to his mom as a "deadbeat" and calling his sister "stupid" Dominik's actions proved to be too much for Rey, who struck his son down.

The soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer berated Dominik for his comments and accepted his challenge for a match at WrestleMania 39.

As Wrestlenomics pointed out on Twitter, this segment has proven to be a hit with fans, amassing 2.3 million views on YouTube (and counting.)

For comparison, the segment between Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and The Bloodline on the same show has reached 341,000 views.

WWE's second most-viewed video from SmackDown is a Top 10 compilation of moments, which has reached 1 million views, and features Dom in the thumbnail.

The third-most-viewed video related to this week's SmackDown also features Dominik in the thumbnail, and collects the "Mysterio Family Drama."

WWE WrestleMania 39 will take place this weekend, April 1, and April 2, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California.

That was a great part of the show with the whole family involved.
