Just days away from WrestleMania 39, the heat is turning up between Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley. In the weeks leading up to their bout for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship, Flair and Ripley have ignited a war of words, and of course, brutality. As each woman jockeyed for momentum, Rhea Ripley opted to bring in some backup along the way -- her fellow Judgement Day stablemate, Dominik Mysterio.

Last month, Mysterio went to face-to-face with Flair on SmackDown, warning Flair that she was no match for Ripley -- also known as "Mami." Flair chuckled, before delivering her response.

"I have a real Latino man at home that calls me 'Mami,'" she said, referring to her life husband, Andrade El Idolo.

Despite their tense exchange on-screen, Charlotte Flair has some positive words about Dominik Mysterio. In a new interview with The Athletic, "The Queen" was asked for her take on Mysterio, and his role in her ongoing story with Rhea Ripley. Flair shared for her praise for the second-generation superstar, but also admitted she's interested in wrestling him in the ring sometime.

"Well, I have a real Papi at home (laughs). I think it’s great. I’m a huge fan of Dom. I respect his father (soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio) so much. I know the pressure of being a second-generation talent; I know how hard that is. So, I have so much respect for him, and I love what he and Rhea are doing. And, who knows … maybe I’ll face Dom."

In regard to Rhea Ripley, Flair was asked to share her thoughts on "The Eradictor"'s growth since their last WrestleMania meeting, that took place three years ago.

"Rhea has grown leaps and bounds. She’s grown into a more comfortable position. Having been on the road for a couple years, in and out of storylines, teaches you a lot. I think she knows now mentally what she’s capable of, and nothing’s gonna stop her."
