Ronda Rousey and Liv Morgan wanted to go old-school hardcore in their match but that didn't happen.
Ronda Rousey and Liv Morgan had a rivalry last year. The two went up against each other in an Extreme Rules match in the namesake PPV in October. Rousey and Morgan used a variety of standard weapons in this match — a bat, steel chairs, a table, and even Rousey's Judo belt but that wasn't enough for the duo.
According to report, they planned to do much more than what the fans saw in their SmackDown Women's Championship match but they weren't given the approval for it.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Rousey and Morgan wanted their battle to be edgier and feature some of the items which have been used in men's hardcore matches in the past. They tried to introduce thumbtacks and items of that nature. However, their idea was turned down by the WWE officials. This certainly left Rousey feeling frustrated with the limitations put on their bout.

Recently, Rousey also took her Instagram account and addressed WWE’s booking. 'The Baddest Woman on The Planet' wondered what her feud with Morgan could have looked like if more effort was put into it behind the scenes.
She wrote:
“Imagine what our @yaonlylivvonce feud could have been if we weren’t hamstrung by a bunch of octogenarians who still think they know how to be hip while putting less than 5 minutes of thought a week into each women’s storyline…"
Rousey and Morgan could come face to face again at WrestleMania 39. They both are a part of the four-way women's showcase tag team match. Rousey is teaming up with Shayna Baszler while Morgan will be joining forces with Raquel Rodriguez.
