During Finn Balor's match with Edge in Hell in a Cell at Wrestlemania 39 Night 2, Edge hit Balor in the head with a ladder, which busted him open. The match was stopped for a few minutes, so the trainers could fix the wound.
On the post-show press conference, Triple H said the trainers fixed Balor’s wound in the ring with staples, to stop the bleeding. Triple H said he just spoke to balor before arriving at the conference and that Balor is fine. He said Balor got a few staples in the ring and it stopped the bleeding and he went on to have a classic match with Edge.
After the show, Balor revealed his huge cut on the head:
