WWE WrestleMania 39 weekend is in the books following the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday night, followed by the first and second nights of WrestleMania 39 from SoFi Stadium.

The first night of the show on Saturday featured The Usos dropping the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles to Kevin Owens and Zayn in the main event. Charlotte Flair also lost the SmackDown Women’s Title to Rhea Ripley.

The second night on Sunday was headlined by Roman Reigns retaining the Undisputed WWE Universal Title over Cody Rhodes, a shocking finish to many.

With WrestleMania being the biggest event of the year for the company, it didn’t happen without a few issues regarding timing.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported today that WWE was very happy about how WrestleMania turned out. There were a few matches that didn’t hit the right time allotted for them.

“Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair went a bit over their originally allotted internal time, but we’re told WWE officials were very happy with the match. John Cena vs. Austin Theory was way under time,” the report stated.

Dave Meltzer also reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Edge vs. Finn Balor in a Cell in a Cell match went short after Balor was busted open, and they rushed through spots to finish the match.

Can not blame the Hell in a Cell match being short, Balor must have been in so much pain with that gruesome cut.
