Vince McMahon had plenty to do backstage at this week's Raw, despite claiming that he won't be a factor in WWE Creative.

The post-WrestleMania 39 edition of Raw was the first episode of the red brand since the WWE-Endeavor deal was announced.

In the statement announcing the deal, it was confirmed that McMahon will be staying on with WWE, and the billionaire is once again in charge.

McMahon has said that while he will oversee WWE's big creative decisions "on a higher level" he won't be "in the weeds" and working on weekly shows.

It has been reported that McMahon made a lot of changes during this week's Raw, which has severely affected morale.

Fightful Select reports that a backstage segment with Cody Rhodes speaking on the phone was scrapped by McMahon.

A segment with Bad Bunny and the LWO (Legado Del Fantasma) was also scrapped by the Executive Chairman of WWE.

Omos defeated Elias during this week's Raw, and his match was a late addition to the show added by McMahon.

Fightful added that Omos was in catering, and there was a rush to make sure he had the gear to compete in after McMahon made the change.

The return of McMahon has had a severe negative effect on WWE's morale, with one source in the company saying the place feels "nuked.

Several talents said they didn't even think the changes were creatively bad, but the entire dishonesty of the situation was bothering them the most.

Important names in WWE had no idea McMahon was going to make changes, and they have no idea what he'll do with this week's SmackDown.
