WrestleMania 39 which took place at SoFi Stadium is in the history books. It was widely considered as 'Most Successful WrestleMania of All-Time.' The card was stacked with some huge matches across the two nights. However, it was reported that a match was scrapped off.
LA Knight and Bobby Lashley were the two stars who were reportedly planning to have a match at 'The Show of Shows.' 'The All Mighty' was originally scheduled to face off against Bray Wyatt. However, due to an undisclosed illness, the SmackDown star pulled off from WWE programming after Elimination Chamber and hasn't been seen since. Lashley went on to be featured on Night Two of the show, posing with his Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy that he had won on SmackDown 48 hours prior.
Meanwhile, Knight was not featured during WrestleMania at all, but it seemed there was a plan in place to feature him on the show.

WRKD Wrestling had confirmed that the initial plan prior to WrestleMania was for Lashley and Knight to have a match on the second night of the show. However, it got nixed. The outlet Tweeted out:
"A noticeable on-screen absence from this weekend's #WrestleMania was LA Knight, even after saying, 'WrestleMania will get that LA Knight moment!' We're told Knight was scheduled to have a segment with Lashley on night two. We are unsure, as of now, why the change was made," WRKD Wrestling wrote.
Now, Fightful has also echoed the same and confirmed the reports of WRKD Wrestling about LA Knight and Bobby Lashley. It was noted:
"We can confirm WRKD Wrestling's report that LA Knight was pitched and planned to have a segment with Bobby Lashley. WWE had the Andre Battle Royal trophy transported to SoFi Stadium specifically to do an entrance."
We will now have to wait and see what WWE has in store for both Bobby Lashley and LA Knight from here.
