The Superstars of WWE were able to breathe easy during this week's SmackDown given that Vince McMahon was nowhere to be seen.

Earlier this week, it was announced that WWE is set to be acquired by Endeavor, who will set up a new company of WWE and UFC, estimated to be worth $21.3 billion.

McMahon has insisted that he will oversee WWE's creative decisions "on a higher level" but he won't be "in the weeds" like he was pre-retirement.

McMahon may claim that he won't be too involved in creative, but this week's Raw told a different story.

The 77-year-old billionaire was heavily involved in the show and made several last-minute changes, resulting in the show being voted the worst post-WrestleMania Raw.

Fightful Select reports that McMahon was not backstage at this week's SmackDown as some had feared he would.

The report adds that morale was said to be much better, but many had the viewing of "we'll see what happens."

This week's SmackDown saw Triple H announce the upcoming WWE draft, and Fightful reports that his segment was produced by Shawn Daivari.

The former wrestling manager also produced the Judgment Day's segment as well as the Judgement Day Vs. LWO (Rey Mysterio/Santos Escobar) match.

Jason Jordan produced Sami Zayn Vs. Jey Uso as well as the post-show dark match between Dolph Ziggler and Austin Theory.

Adam Pearce produced Ricochet Vs. Ivar while TJ Wilson produced Natalya & Shotzi vs. Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan.

Joseph 'Abyss' Park produced the Brawling Brutes Vs. Imperium, and Fightful report that the show was the highest-grossing non-PLE in Portland's Moda Center.
